Calculating the Required
Sample-Size
When you want to test a new design
of a direct mailing or simply change your offer, you may
want to test this not on the total customer file but on a
small selection. Large enough to give you correct
answers, but certainly small enough to provide
information on which you can rely.
In this case you should calculate
the appropriate sample-size by using this calculator. It
will tell you how big your sample should be so that you
can draw the right conclusions out of it.
