During implementations of direct
mailings, you often will run into the situation where you
have to compare the results of different designs and
implementations of a specific direct mail activity. I.e.
you could experiment with different offers or different
designs - and you send out 2 test mailings to find out
which of them is performing better (what ever you define
to be "better").
When you finally have the results
of both of these implementations, in nearly every case
you will have different results. And you will wonder how
to compare them. This is the situation for that this
little calculation has been built. After you entered the
key-facts of your promotions, it will tell you if there
is any statistical difference of the results.
